Getting logged out?

We discuss general login issues here but this is most likely to be a problem with your local browser settings, specifically whether it accepts cookies or not.

We use these to make sure that it's you accessing your account (read more about our Cookie Policy here). You will need to ensure that they are enabled.

How do I enable cookies in Chrome?

To do this in the Chrome browser (our recommended browser), you should follow these instructions:

  • Click the Chrome menu icon .
  • Select Settings.
  • Click Show advanced settings near the bottom of the page.
  • Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section.
  • Select "Allow local data to be set to allow both first-party and third-party cookies". If you only want to accept first-party cookies, check the box next to "Block all third-party cookies without exception."

How do I enable cookies in other browsers?

In Internet Explorer, to enable cookies your security settings will need to be set to Medium rather than Medium High (instructions for that are here). If you are using an Ipad/Iphone, there are some instructions on how to turn on cookies here. For other browsers, please refer to your browser settings.
